Got a painture for my bedroom :-) 2008-04-05 12:06 - Permanent link
A week ago I had this idea of hanging in my bedroom a set of topographical maps of Switzerland. After doing some maths about what wall dimensions I need, I have decided for 1:200 000 scale (found here)
Here is the story in pictures of assembling the 4 map-sheets that I have bought from Swisstopo.
Ufff, it was so hard to cut those maps :-(

We were in Andermatt(~1400m a.s.l.) for a local.ch ski-weekend. We didn't do any ski or snowboarding but we took the chance to do some small hikes around. More to come in a separate gallery and on Flickr.

This shitty picture is taken with my mobile :-) To the left you can see my old camera, Canon A70(we have it since summer 2003) which belongs (now) to Oana and to the right my brand new Nikon D80 with Sigma 2.8 18-50 HSM super lens :-)
